One of man’s most important needs is to experience love. As humans we are relational creatures who want good relationships as well as to embrace a sense of belonging. But sometimes, things can happen in our lives where we never feel a connection to anyone, even family, making it difficult for us to experience love. Relationships can become strained or even severed altogether. Be encouraged today though because you are not alone. God loves you no matter what. You may not be all that you aspire to be right now, but God loves you despite any of your failures, shortcomings, or feelings of not belonging.
In God’s sight you are precious and worth the sacrifice it took for you to be saved. Never again should you allow yourself to feel worthless or unloved. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:4-8 NKJV)
