Sometimes we can end up in the most unlikely places in life. And we wonder how did we get here? Nothing seems to be working and it feels like we are barely surviving in a wilderness. Your wilderness experience may be grief from a loss, lack and despair from an unmet need, discouragement because things didn’t turn out the way you planned or even guilt from past mistakes. Don’t fear and don’t lose hope!
Hope can move you from a desolate place to a place of flourishing possibilities. Look at Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV). "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
We have a promise from God that when we trust and hope in Him, we can flourish no matter what. Now, more than ever, is the time to keep hope alive!
